Doc, my lower dentures are such a pain! Is there anything you can do to help?

Most patients end up with a denture as a last result. They have been through years of gum treatments, fillings, crowns, and have finally reached the end of the road. The denture is supposed to mark a new beginning, but along with it, there are new problems. Loose dentures can twist and pop up, causing ongoing problems with things like talking, eating and sore spots.

Maintaining dentures requires frequent adjustments, repeated re-lines and messy adhesives. In spite of all the adjustments and adhesives, studies show that 90 percent of denture wearers are never happy with their lower dentures.
